Day 1

Arrival in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, a Meilleur Tours driver-guide will warmly welcome you. They'll transport you to your lodging, where a delicious dinner and comfortable accommodations await. Rest well overnight in anticipation of your upcoming safari adventure. Day 2

Tarangire National park

In the early morning, following breakfast, we'll begin on a journey to Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, its lifeline during the dry season. The park boasts diverse vegetation, from dense elephant grass to lush groundwater forests, providing a habitat for various wildlife, including elephant families, giraffes, and hartebeests. Predators like lions and leopards also roam the area. Tarangire is renowned for its abundant bird species. After an exhilarating game drive and lunch, we'll retreat to our luxury partner lodges near Tarangire for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

As the sun rises and you finish breakfast, we'll kick off our adventure to Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its abundance of bird species and unique tree-climbing lions. The park is framed by the stunning Rift Valley escarpment to the west and the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara to the east. During rainy seasons, the lake attracts flocks of flamingos. Named after the Maasai word for a plant used in building enclosures, the park boasts diverse landscapes, from savannah to lush forests.
During our exploration, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants, and if luck's on our side, lions lounging in the trees. After a satisfying lunch and exciting game drive, we'll head to our partner lodges in Karatu for a delicious dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. Renowned for its dense wildlife population, including wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species, the crater offers a unique safari experience. Keep your eyes peeled for the endangered black rhino roaming the open grasslands. Following lunch and an extensive game drive, we'll retire to our luxury lodge perched on the crater rim, where you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5-6

Serengeti National Park

As the sun rises and you finish breakfast, we'll journey to Serengeti National Park, a vast expanse of open grasslands abundant with wildlife. This ancient ecosystem, Tanzania's oldest national park, has remained unchanged for thousands of years. Its main attraction is the annual Great Migration, where herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move in search of fresh grazing. After lunch and a game drive, we'll head to our tented lodges for dinner and a two-night stay, with the option to experience a balloon safari for a unique view of the park.

Day 7-9

Zanzibar

After breakfast, we'll head straight to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ), with an optional stop in Stone Town (additional cost). Then, we'll continue to Nungwi on Zanzibar's northern coast, known for its stunning white coral sand beaches that glow even at night. Despite its lively atmosphere, Nungwi still feels secluded, offering ample space for swimming and snorkeling in clear, reef-rich waters. Unlike many Zanzibar beaches, Nungwi's tide fluctuations are gentle, perfect for all-day water activities like diving, snorkeling, and parasailing. You can also enjoy walking tours of Stone Town, sunset cruises, and cultural excursions to spice plantations. With plenty of options, including traditional dhow boat rides and thrilling water sports, you'll have three nights to enjoy the adventure and relaxation that Zanzibar has to offer.
