Day 0: |
Optional Airport Transfer and BriefingIf you choose the optional airport transfer, we'll pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and take you to your hotel in Arusha. Pre-trek briefing at your Arusha hotel. Arrive at least one day before the trek. We'll have a pre-trek briefing, review your equipment, and rent any needed gear. Day 1: |
Momella Gate to Miriakamba HutYour adventure starts with a drive from Arusha to Momella Gate. After park registration, the trek begins through open grasslands, where you might spot wildlife like giraffes and buffaloes. The path then enters the rainforest, leading to Miriakamba Hut. Here, you'll enjoy stunning views and an overnight stay.

Day 2: |
Miriakamba Hut to Saddle HutAfter breakfast, continue your climb through the rainforest. The path then shifts to the moorland, with giant lobelias and other unique plants. Arrive at Saddle Hut in the afternoon. You can take a side trek to Little Meru for acclimatization and enjoy panoramic views.

Day 3: |
Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Momella GateStart your summit attempt early in the morning. Trek through rocky terrain to reach Socialist Peak, the summit of Mount Meru. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. After celebrating at the peak, descend back to Saddle Hut for a short rest and lunch. Continue your descent to Momella Gate, where you'll receive your certificates and drive back to Arusha.
