Optional Airport Transfer and Pre-trek BriefingIf you've chosen the optional airport transfers, we'll fetch you from either Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and whisk you away to your lodging in Moshi. Umbwe Gate to Umbwe CaveCommence your journey from the hotel to Londorossi Park Gate, a scenic 3-hour drive. Navigate through rugged forest trails accessible only by 4WD vehicles to reach the Lemosho Glades. Trek through enchanting forest paths to the Mti Mkubwa campsite.

Day 2 |
Umbwe Cave to Barranco CampEmbark on a steep ascent from the rainforest to the Barranco camp situated in a scenic valley. Temperatures may drop, signaling the transition to higher altitudes.

Day 3 |
Barranco Camp to Karanga CampTraverse towards Kibo's peak, encountering the Lava Tower and Barranco Wall. Acclimatize in preparation for the summit bid at the Barranco Camp.

Day 4 |
Karanga Camp to Barafu CampAscend the steep Barranco Wall and traverse the Karanga Valley towards Barafu Camp, completing the South Circuit. Prepare for the summit push at Barafu Camp.

Day 5 |
Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka CampCommence the challenging ascent towards the summit, experiencing the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. Witness a breathtaking sunrise at Stella Point before reaching Uhuru Peak. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6 |
Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to HotelDescend to Mweka Park Gate to receive summit certificates. The terrain may be wet and muddy, so gaiters and trekking poles are recommended. A vehicle awaits at Mweka Gate to transfer you back to the hotel in Moshi, concluding your Kilimanjaro adventure.
